Site License Costs for the UniversityThe annual fee for the ESRI University Site License at KU is $25,000 and is renewed every June 20th. The annual fee includes:
Note to Students: the Site License restricts usage of software to university-owned computers. If you are a student interested in acquiring ESRI software for your personal computer, you can purchase a one-year ArcGIS ArcView 9.x license for $100 and/or a one-year ArcView 3.x license for $250. Purchase of ArcGIS ArcView 9.x includes Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, Network Analyst, and Geostatistical Analyst. Contact ESRI Telebusiness at 1-800-447-9778 for details. for the coming year. Renewal fees are due by mid-June. New users may
subscribe at any time during the year and all fees will be prorated
for that year (not applicable to ArcView). Unlimited Use Fee Schedule The following fee schedule for unlimited software use has been established for 2006-2007:
Unlimited Use includes all ESRI products available through the site license including: ArcGIS ArcInfo, ArcView, all ArcView Extensions, ArcIMS, Map Objects, ArcSDE. Limited Use Fee Schedule ArcGIS ArcInfo Workstation (UNIX and NT) and Desktop (NT only) including associated modules (e.g., Grid, Cogo, Map Objects).
A "floating seat" is a right-to-use license that can be accessed from the local machine containing the keycode license, or remote machines with network access to the license machine. For example, a machine with 2 floating licenses will allow up to 2 concurrent users from any machine on the local network. ArcView 3.x and ArcGIS ArcEditor 9.x Fee Schedules There are no annual fees associated with ArcView 3.x and AE 9.x.
