The image was resampled using bilinear interpolation with ENVI 4.0 Native image resolution is 15m Band 1: 0.52 - 0.60 µm If viewing in ArcMap, change the display property settings to Red-Band3,Green-Band2,Blue-Band1, and set "display background value 0,0,0 as" "no color". This will yield a traditional CIR false color composite (green vegetation appears red. In general, if a pixel is not some shade of red, it is either water, bare ground, or a manmade structure). For more information about ASTER Imagery see asterweb.jpl.nasa.gov ******* Landsat 7 Note: Landsat 7 data has banding (black stripes with no data). This is due to a malfunction in the sensor. See the USGS Landsat Project page for more information. Download

******* Recent heavy rains in Southeast Kansas have led to the evacuations of hundreds of homes in the area. An inundated oil refinery in Coffeyville has released over 70,000 gallons of oil. In addition to oblique aerial photos acquired the the Kansas Wing of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), the USGS Rocky Mountain Mapping Center is coordinating with CAP Headquaters to process CAP's ARCHER System data, a hyperspectral imaging camera.
