Description:
The FGDC Clearinghouse is a searchable collection of over 100 spatial
data servers, Data Types:
Digital geographic data, primarily for use in Geographic Information
Systems (GIS), image processing systems, and other modeling software.
Data Access: To search
for the data, you'll have use the site's clickable map to choose
the closest data gateway. User Notes:
- It really doesn't matter which entry point
you choose because each one searches for data on the same servers.
- To use these search forms, you really need
some idea of what kind of data you're looking for…the search
fields presume that you are familiar with metadata and don't
provide any examples.
